Countryhouse Achterhoek and Liemers (2006 - )
The Countryhouse Achterhoek and Liemers is a network organisation in which knowledge institutions, authorities, social organisations and the business community work together on the planning of the land use in the countryside. The various participating organisations make manpower available for this (18 employees - approximately 11 FTE’s).
The Countryhouse deliberately aims for a cooperation with many parties that are active in the field of the planning of land use in rural areas, such as farmers, entrepreneurs from small and medium-sized businesses, private initiators, but also all kinds of intermediary organisations such as the province, local authorities, water boards, nature conservation organisations, agricultural organizations, foundations and associations.
On the basis of their knowledge and know-how with regard to rural areas, Croes & Horst was asked to reinforce the Countryhouse team of employees, and to deliver capacity for the initiating of, among other things, specific rural area initiatives, the development of collaborations, and to ensure an integral approach, as well as to manage the Dortherbeek project. In short, to supply the driving force with a ‘hands-on’ mentality.
